Product Warranty
REC panels come standard with a 20-year product warranty. This covers panel defects and promises that the panels will maintain their superior quality for at least 20 years. All panels are eligible for a + 5-year product warranty extension, as per the REC ProTrust Warranty.
Performance Warranty
REC’s performance warranty ensures that REC panels perform exactly as expected – every year for 25 years. With higher warranted power and year-over-year yields, REC customers have greater Return on Investment (ROI) predictability.
Labour Warranty
The labor warranty is unique and gives customers added protection in the unlikely event that a REC panel needs to be serviced. Customers with installations up to 25 kW have a 25-year warranty for each of product, performance, and labor. Systems between 25-500 kW have the same 25-year product and performance warranties, plus 10-year labor warranty.
In case of an approved claim, REC will compensate a cash payment for the time a REC Certified Solar Professional spent servicing an installation. And if your original installer is no longer in business, you are still covered by REC.
